1. A barely used BrailleConnect 40 in perfect condition--I only used it a total of six times for short periods.
$3500 including shipping and insurance.
This is a very realiable display, light yet it gives you a great, long line of crisp braille. Works with all major screen readers and can be connected via USB or bluetooth. Comes with executive case and cables

2. Braille plus, In great condition. This version has sixty gigs and the latest firmware
$400 including shipping and insurance.

All payments must be made via payPal. Please contact
bernadetta_pracon@samobile.net
to purchase or to ask questions.

Thank you

P.S:
If anyone is interested in both items, a package deal can be worked out. The two devices work perfectly together.

A braille plus is a relatively old but very useful PDA. It is the same as an icon, except it has a braille keyboard.

Yes, and mine got damaged during shipping because the stupid fedex people didn't know how to pack it. How do I get the insurance I claimed on it?
Nathan.

The Braille'n speak is also an old, but useful, bit of technology. If it were to make a come-back (with USB instead of RS-232, and with a price under $100) I might get a new one.

Nathan
You should have gotten a number on a receat, call feddex with this number or just call them and ask about it.

Be Careful What You Buy Scam Alert KingsHand (Conrad)

Hello all,

Allow me to tell my story. Kingshand, formly known as Conrad, purchased my BraillePlus. Since he wasn't interested in giving me anywhere close to my asking price, which was$500.00, I said, "What about your Lenovo T60?" That isn't even that decent of a laptop anyway; i thought I would purchase for a back-up computer. In order to verify who he said he was, I charged him $100.00 with PayPal. PayPal then held my information because I was a new seller. I tested the unit twice before shipping and it worked flawlessly. He receives it and states "it says files are missing." How could that be, when I had tested it twice, unless it was damaged in shipping, or you didn't know what you were doing. He further states that he performed a factory flash, which is supposed to restore the BraillePlus from the rescue partition in the hard drive. I put those steps there for him, but, he said again, "It still says the same thing." He opened a dispute with me on PayPal. He asked for a refund. I gave him the refund because I'm not worried about one hundred dollars, since I thought at least FedEx insurance would cover it, right? Not. I called FedEx with the tracking number. They said, we have to send someone to his house. Well, that's funny, because, he sent me an invalid UPS tracking number. And, even if he shipped it back to me, I doubt that he would ship it in the original box. Don't conduct business with him. Bad news:)

Excuse me, Nathan, but I've seen the other board where you created a thread that said exactly the same thing about this person... And as it turns out, you seem to be the one who doesn't know what he's doing. Since you can't follow an accurate UPS tracking number and you jump to conclusions about people and their supposed bad motives. now, other people have baught things from this person and they seem satisfied. This leads me to believe that indeed you didn't know what you were doing when you "tested" the braille plus you sold. I'm only commenting on this because you posted this on my thread out of context. I wouldn't have minded so much if you'd have done that and it was accurate, but since it's not, I dont' think it's ok for you to slander people prematurely twice on a web site, much less on a board that I started in order to sell some things of my own. Check yoru facts before you publicly trash someone. Smarter people than yourself have kept their mouthes shut even in light of an actual scam if they had reason to believe that the details they had on a scammer were sketchy at best.

I'm lowering my prices on the above mentioned items.
Five hundred dollars off of the braille display and I'm slashing the price in half for the braille plus. That's less than half the retail price for the braille connect, and over sixty percent off of the retail price for the braille plus. Needing to pay soem bills--that's my reason for parting with my beloved braille display and PDA. Contact me if you'd liek to purchase.

Thanks

I know how to test a Braille Plus. It is easy to test, and I didn't realize that I had posted this. So, sorry for doing this.

I know how to post a tracking number.

How can you not realize you're posting something? HB, I'd recommend leaving this alone and to stop using this thread for off topic stuff. You're essentially derailing someone else's topic for no reason at all.
